Understanding the Shillong Teer Formula
Shillong Teer is a unique archery-based lottery game played in Meghalaya, India. Every day, archers shoot arrows at a target, and the last two digits of the total number of arrows hitting the target form the winning number for that round.
Over the years, players have developed specific mathematical formulas to predict the next day's numbers based on the previous day's First Round (F/R) and Second Round (S/R) results. Our Shillong Teer Calculator automates the most popular "Addition & Value" formula used by local players.
How the Addition Formula Works
The calculator combines the previous F/R and S/R results into a 4-digit sequence, then repeatedly adds adjacent numbers together (dropping the tens digit if the sum is over 9) until a final 2-digit number remains.
1. Combine: 4 5 9 2
2. Add adjacents: (4+5=9), (5+9=14->4), (9+2=11->1)
3. Next row: 9 4 1
4. Add adjacents: (9+4=13->3), (4+1=5)
5. Final Result: 35 (House 3, Ending 5)
The first digit becomes the target House, and the second digit becomes the target Ending.
Teer Value Numbers
In Teer, numbers have a universally accepted "Value" equivalent. Professional players always bet on the direct number and its corresponding value numbers to hedge their bets. The standard values are calculated by adding 5 to a digit (or subtracting 5 if over 4).
- 0 = 5
- 1 = 6
- 2 = 7
- 3 = 8
- 4 = 9
If your calculated House is 3 and Ending is 5 (Direct: 35), the Value House is 8 and the Value Ending is 0. This gives you backup direct combinations: 85, 30, and 80.
