The Double Discount Formula
To calculate the final price manually, you must apply the first percentage drop, find the new subtotal, and then apply the second percentage drop to that new subtotal.
Mathematical Formula:
Final Price = Original Price × [1 - (Discount 1 / 100)] × [1 - (Discount 2 / 100)]
Example: 30% + 20% Off
A jacket originally costs $100. It is on sale for 30% off, and you have a 20% coupon.
