Understanding ROI (Return on Investment)
ROI is the standard financial metric used to measure the efficiency or profitability of an investment. It is calculated by subtracting your initial investment cost from your final exit value (accounting for fees), and then dividing that net profit by the initial cost.
For example, an ROI of 100% means you have exactly doubled your original investment money. An ROI of -50% means you have lost half of your initial investment value.
